Files

The Files page is where you grab finished work from us, and where you send us source material like logos, photos, and documents.

Two views

The Files page has two views, switchable at the top:

  • Folders — the deliverables we've organised for you (when your account is set up with shared folders).
  • Uploads — files you've sent us through the portal.

Uploading a file

  1. Go to Files in your dashboard.
  2. Click the Upload button.
  3. Either drag a file onto the upload area or click to browse and pick one.
  4. Add an optional description so we know what it is and what it's for.
  5. Click Upload File.

The file will appear in your Uploads list once it's done.

File size and type limits

  • Maximum size: 50 MB per file.
  • Allowed types: common images (JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, SVG), PDFs, Microsoft Word and Excel documents, ZIP archives, and design files (Photoshop, PostScript).

If your file is too big, try one of these:

  • Compress it into a ZIP if you have several smaller files.
  • For very large files (videos, raw photo shoots, big PSDs), let us know on a support ticket and we'll send you a special drop-off link.

Downloading a file

In the Folders view, click any folder to open it, then click a file to download it. In the Uploads view, click a file in the list to download it.

Heads up about download links. When you click download, we generate a fresh, time-limited link to your file. These links are only good for a short while (about 15 minutes). If you copy a link to share with a colleague and they click it an hour later, it won't work — they'll just need to log into the portal and download it themselves. This is to keep your files private.

Organising files

Files in the Folders view are organised the way our team set them up — usually by project or by category (Branding, Photos, Documents, etc.). You can browse into and back out of folders using the breadcrumb trail at the top.

Naming tips for files you upload:

  • Use clear names: acme-logo-final.svg is better than Untitled-3.svg.
  • Avoid spaces in filenames where possible — dashes or underscores work better.
  • If you're sending a revision, mention it in the description so we don't mix it up with an earlier version.

Storage

There's no per-file quota you need to worry about for normal use. If you hit a limit, we'll let you know.

Troubleshooting

"Upload failed"

  • File too large? Files must be under 50 MB. Try compressing or splitting.
  • Unsupported type? Check the list above. If you need to send a file type that isn't on the list, send us a ticket and we'll work out an alternative.
  • Network hiccup? Refresh the page and try again. Large files are more sensitive to a flaky connection.

Just click the file again to generate a fresh download link. Each click gives you a new short-lived link.

"I can't see a folder I expected"

If your account is brand new, the shared folders may not be set up yet. Once we've created your folder, deliverables will start showing up there. If you think something's missing, send a ticket and we'll check.
