What you need to use the portal

The MoonFactory portal runs in your web browser. There's nothing to install, but a few things will make your experience smoother.

Browsers

The portal works best in modern web browsers — the latest two versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. If you're on an older browser, some pages may look off or behave unexpectedly. Updating to the current version usually fixes any issues.

Mobile and tablet

Yes — the portal is designed to work on phones and tablets as well as on desktop. You can sign in, check on tickets, view files, see analytics, approve content, and chat with Atlas from any device. Some power-user views (large tables, detailed charts) are easier on a bigger screen, but everything is accessible from mobile.

Internet connection

You'll need an internet connection to use the portal. Most pages are light and quick to load. A stable connection helps for:

  • Uploading files (especially anything over a few megabytes)
  • Downloading deliverables, archives, or invoices
  • Streaming Atlas chat responses
  • Real-time analytics views

If you're on a slow or unreliable connection, big uploads and downloads can be interrupted. Just retry — the portal handles partial uploads gracefully.

Accessibility

We design the portal to meet WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards. In practical terms, that means:

  • You can navigate the whole portal with a keyboard — no mouse required.
  • It works with screen readers and other assistive technology.
  • Text and interface colors meet contrast standards so they're easy to read.
  • Important actions and alerts are announced clearly to assistive software.

If you run into anything that isn't working well with the tools you use, please let us know — we treat accessibility issues as bugs and fix them quickly.

Sign-in

You'll need an active email address — the one we have on file for you — to sign in. Sign-in is via a one-time link sent to your email, with the option to add two-factor authentication for extra security. See First login for the walkthrough.
