Signing in for the first time

The MoonFactory portal doesn't use passwords. Instead, we send a secure sign-in link to your email — click it, and you're in.

How sign-in works

When you go to the portal sign-in page, you enter your email address. We send a one-time link to that inbox. You click the link, and it logs you in. No password to remember, no password to lose.

Each link works once. After you've used it, the link is dead — even if someone else gets hold of it later. Links also expire after a short time if you don't use them, so old emails sitting in your inbox can't be used to get into your account.

Step by step

1. Go to your portal sign-in page.
2. Type the email address we have on file for you.
3. Click Send sign-in link.
4. Open your inbox and look for an email from MoonFactory Portal. Subject: Sign in to MoonFactory Portal.
5. Click the Sign in to Portal button in the email.
6. You'll land on your dashboard. You're in.

If you don't see the email after a minute, check your spam or junk folder.

Your session

Once you're signed in, you'll stay signed in for 30 days on that device. After that, just request a new sign-in link.

If you're using a shared computer, click your name in the corner and choose Sign out when you're done.

What you'll see when you log in

The first thing you'll see is your Dashboard — a high-level summary of your account. From there, the left or top navigation gives you direct access to:

• Support — your tickets and a button to start a new one
• Files — uploads and deliverables
• Billing — your invoices
• Projects — what we're working on for you
• Plus any other features enabled on your account (Domains, DNS, Analytics, Email, and so on)

Take a moment to click around — everything is read-only until you actually do something, so you can't break anything by exploring.

Troubleshooting

"I didn't get the email"

• Check your spam or junk folder.
• Wait a moment — sometimes email takes 30 seconds or so to arrive.
• Make sure you used the email address we have on file. If you're not sure, contact us.
• If you've requested several sign-in links in quick succession, wait a minute before trying again — there's a short cooldown to stop accidental floods.

"The link says it's expired"

Sign-in links only work for a short window after we send them. If yours is older than about 15 minutes, just go back to the sign-in page and request a new one.

"The link says it's already been used"

Each link works once. If you click it and then click it again later, the second click won't work — the link has done its job. Request a new one from the sign-in page.

"It says no account was found"

The email address you typed isn't on our records. Double-check the spelling, and if it still doesn't work, get in touch and we'll sort it out.
